1.Status of this notice
This is Pawverse's staging privacy notice. It describes the current mobile product and the processing confirmed in executable source. Before production, Pawverse must add the verified legal operator name, registered address, registration details, final lawful bases, record-specific retention schedule, processor list, transfer safeguards, and supervisory authority information after qualified legal review.
2.Information Pawverse handles
Account and contact information can include your name, username, email address, date of birth, optional mobile number, sign-in provider, authentication and account-recovery records.
Profile and user content can include your profile, pet profiles, photos, videos, captions, stories, comments, reactions, messages, reports, appeals, and other information you choose to submit.
Service and safety information can include policy acknowledgements, marketing choices, moderation and enforcement records, device and push registration details, an app-generated device identifier, request timestamps, and security events. Network services necessarily process source IP addresses when requests are made.
3.How Pawverse uses information
Pawverse uses information to create and secure accounts, provide pet profiles and social features, deliver messages and notifications, process media, personalize product results, prevent abuse and fraud, enforce the Terms and Community Guidelines, respond to support and rights requests, and comply with valid legal duties.
Optional marketing email is separate from account verification, security, moderation, and other service communications.
4.Moderation and media processing
Text and media can be checked by automated safety systems and, where needed, authorized reviewers. Text moderation runs through Pawverse-controlled local services. Photo and video safety checks can use OpenAI after Pawverse prepares a moderation copy. Video audio can be transcribed for safety review.
Automated systems can assist detection and triage. They do not by themselves make Pawverse's final permanent-account-disablement or legal-reporting decision.
5.Service providers and transfers
Depending on the feature, Pawverse uses infrastructure, storage, email, push-notification, authentication, security, and moderation providers to operate the service. Google or Apple process provider sign-in when you choose it, Firebase Cloud Messaging supports push delivery, and OpenAI can process eligible photo or video safety inputs.
The final production notice must identify approved provider categories, processing locations, and any required international transfer safeguards.
6.Analytics, advertising, and location
The audited Pawverse mobile source currently has no active mobile analytics, advertising, attribution, device-location, purchase, remote-crash-reporting, or performance-monitoring SDK.
The app-generated device identifier is not an IMEI, hardware serial number, advertising ID, or IDFA. Pawverse does not request device location for the current product. A future feature or provider cannot change these practices without a new product decision, privacy review, and updated notice.
7.AI training
Pawverse does not currently train an AI model on user media. A possible future pet-media training program is not active and must not begin without an approved lawful basis or consent model, eligibility and dataset-lineage controls, withdrawal and deletion handling, security safeguards, an updated notice, and qualified legal review.
8.Retention and account deletion
Pawverse keeps information only while it is needed for the service, security, safety, dispute handling, or a valid legal requirement. The final production schedule and any lawful archive exceptions must be published before launch.
Requesting account deletion immediately deactivates the account and hides it from ordinary product use. Signing in through the reactivation flow during the recovery period stated by Pawverse can restore it before final deletion. Some narrowly required safety, fraud, dispute, report, appeal, or legal-hold records may need restricted retention or anonymization where applicable law allows or requires it. Secured backup copies can remain until their normal rotation; the final backup schedule requires legal and operational approval before production.
Deleting your Pawverse account explains the deletion process in detail.
9.Your choices and rights
You can update supported profile information, manage privacy and notification settings, block users, report content, appeal eligible enforcement actions, and request account deletion in the app.
Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or portability. See Data Rights for the current request path.
10.Age and child safety
Pawverse is a general-audience pet social service for people aged 13 or older and does not offer an under-13 account mode. A higher regional minimum age or guardian requirement can apply where required by law or an approved platform age signal.
Pawverse prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation. Use the exact in-app Report action for content or behavior on Pawverse.
Child Safety sets out Pawverse's full standards.
11.Security and contact
Pawverse uses access controls, encrypted transport, protected credentials, restricted administrative access, and security monitoring appropriate to the service. No online service can promise absolute security.
For a privacy or data-rights request, contact support@pawverse.pet with the subject “Privacy request”. Include only the information needed to identify and handle the request.
