1.Who can apply
Ordinary usernames are generally first-come. Some exact service and identity names are protected. A rights holder or authorized representative may ask Pawverse to review a claim. A shared name or trademark does not automatically justify taking a legitimate user or pet username. Only a human user profile can receive an approved protected assignment.
2.How to request review
For impersonation, report the exact user or pet profile in the app. For a username claim, use Support or email support@pawverse.pet. Include the exact username, the person or organization represented, the email you want nominated, a brief explanation and necessary evidence of your authority, such as an official-domain contact or a relevant rights record. Pawverse may ask for additional proof where necessary. Do not send passwords, one-time codes or unnecessary identity documents.
3.Approved email and claiming
Staff verification and email nomination are separate from claiming. An approved nomination lasts 30 days. Use the exact nominated email and complete the normal email-verification and account eligibility steps. An existing eligible user can use the protected-name claim option. Another email receives the ordinary unavailable answer. Expiry does not make a protected name public, and an occupied name needs separate review.
4.If your user or pet username is disputed
If a reviewed case requires a rename, the human owner receives a reason and exact deadline through an in-app notice and essential account email. The ordinary period is seven days from notice issuance. Follow the notice or Account Status to choose an allowed replacement or contest with your explanation. A timely contest pauses forced replacement and final assignment for human review. If you then choose a replacement while your appeal is open, the appeal remains open until staff decide it. Contact Support if you cannot access the notice. Failed delivery needs review; an ordinary email retry does not restart the deadline.
5.Decisions and replacements
Staff may dismiss a claim, cancel a rename requirement, confirm it with a fresh ordinary seven-day notice, or finalize a justified assignment after the required safeguards. There is no automatic transfer at the deadline. Staff can explicitly choose a neutral user_ or pet_ name. You have one confirmed custom choice per case; a staff fallback leaves an unused choice available for 30 days from that fallback. The notice states the deadline. Your stable account or pet and its history stay yours. The disputed name is held throughout review and does not become publicly available when you rename. Reversal after assignment requires a new authorized review, not automatic seizure from the new holder.
6.Further review and your information
The ordinary case deadline does not limit applicable legal complaint, out-of-court or court rights. For further review or access difficulties, contact support@pawverse.pet with the case reference and explanation. Pawverse promises no claim approval or fixed review time. Necessary claim evidence is private and restricted; the Privacy Policy explains its use, retention and your rights. Urgent safety measures use separate safety powers and do not create a shortcut for assigning usernames.
